Dr. Jean-Paul Lussier of Montreal died in December 2017 at the age of 100.  Fellow Lussier was a Dentist, Professor Emeritus and former Dean of the University of Montreal Faculty of Dental Medicine.  His academic credentials include DMD, MSc, PhD, MBA, and two honorary PhD’s.  Most of his career was devoted to teaching dentistry but he was also involved in the creation of the Association of Canadian Faculties of Dentistry.  His career spanned 65 years and over 100 papers published.  A more extensive appreciation can be found in CDA Essentials, 2018, Issue 1, page 46.  His contributions to Dentistry in Canada were enormous and he was recognised and honored by many awards throughout his distinguished career.
